The OP said it was happening when dragging a window around on the Primary screen the secondary screen would flicker/show artifacts.

I can't recreate it here on my screens, all three are fine while moving windows.

In order for it to happen for me I just OC my card a bit. Then open up anything, say firefox, then click on the top of the window and drag it around a little bit on your primary monitor, or load a page on the forum, then scroll up/down.

The only thing I notice is the frame of the window I'm dragging sometimes popping up on the secondary monitor, that's normal I believe.

No flashing or texture corruption.
I just oc'd with Afterburner, no issues.
Might be a CCC thing, but I can't test CCC because I have no options when my 295 is installed.

I do see that the card does not reach low power mode with 2 monitors hooked up.

It's CCC, definitely.
I went a head and uninstalled my 295 so I could get to my CCC options.
I'm seeing the flashing and blocks pop up now.

Here is the reason, clock speeds are cycling between modes.
I'll try to force a constant speed and see what happens.

Problems with 5770 :(-msi.jpg

EDIT> Had to take my 2d mem speed up to 900mhz before the glitching would stop.

I've got afterburner going and I see what you mean by set the 2d settings to 900 on memory, but I am having trouble getting afterburner to save it. If I turn the mem clock down, when I hit apply, it resets to 1200 again, since I can't apply it I can't save a profile.

Edit: Even when I set it up so that its at 640/1200 for the 2D profile and 950/1280 for 3D, afterburner is showing the mem clock at 300, and the glitches are still showing up on my 2nd monitor.

Edit 2: I see what I need it to do now. Yeah for some reason I can't set the memory clock below 1200. When I do it just goes back up to 1200 as soon as I hit apply, and if I can't apply it I can't save it to use for the 2D profile.

I have CCC reinstalled now, set up a profile and edited it, working great now. To get rid of the glitching I had to have the idle and 2d settings set to the same, at 400/900 I was still getting it, but at 600/900 everything seems to be working great.

I just wanted to say thank you grunion, I know you spent a good amount of time on helping me and I appreciate it a lot.

I had the same problem, but when i set the idle clocks to the normal speeds (at load speeds) i still got the problem. Although when i stopped overclocking it and put it back to stock i dont get the problem at all. Although games crash... Aion and Warcraft 3, Haven't tried others though.
