There isn't much sense to jumping the ship for new API support, unless you actually want to see the API in action at sub-30FPS.

There's nothing wrong with being excited about it, but buying entry level cards for the sake of saying "it does DX11!" is silly, since they're very likely to under-perform once the new API is put to use.

wow, really?!? he said he sold the 4870 to help out a friend and a 5750 is fine for a casual gamer and as of right now, it should still do well in most games. There is no reason for you to be hard on him.

You sold 4870 just to get 5750? Noooo... Why people doing this? One sold GTX260 to get 5770, and the second one sold 4870 to get 5750 :| LOL! I'm sorry but it's very funny for me...
