That's way too many exclamation points for two posts. I understand that English isn't your native language but still...

Honestly OP I'm going to have to agree with what the others said. If you're buying something new at least make it an upgrade.

well i think you made a good purchase, you future proofed yourself for when dx11 games come out and then you can also crossfire it and x2 5770s are a big bang for your buck

Thats quite enough.

He never asked if trading a 4870 for a 5750 was a good idea. He simply asked what there is to be excited about.

Clearly less heat and power usage, eyefinity, and dx11 are things to be excited about.

nice OP. you will be happy. 5750s are less powerfull than a 4870 NOW because 1.. they are running on new drivers. 2 they are mainly using DX10 games. wait til DX11 games are around and drivers are good and im sure that 5750 will prove it self. to all those who want to flame? get off the post and go cry about your DX10 cards else wear please,

I sold my 4890 vapor-X to get a 5770...

Believe it or not, the 5770 is a better card, less power, less heat and 500+ more in 3dmark06

An overclocked 5750 should be on par or better then an overclocked 4870.

That said, it's a new venture and something to be very exited about.

Enjoy it!
