Considering you have a 4870... No, I don't think so. Everything I have read puts the 4870 above the 5770 in performance. The only real gain I believe will be less power draw.

Ridiculously low power consumption for comparable performance. And some neato DX11 features.

I sold my 4870 1gb to a friend to help him out really, not as an upgrade.

Has any nice DX11 games come out yet? and how much different is it over dx10?

DX11 isn't much different than DX10 but does have some features that really stand out with tesselation being one of them. As far as I know, there are no DX11 games available yet. From what I've read, the first will be out in December.

The 5750 is close to a 4850 in performance. Unless there are any dx11 games you want, you've downgraded in performance.

Well, not really. From what I have heard the 5750 is a 4850 w/ DX11 :/

Yes, I'm aware of the performance drop. Nevertheless I don't really care for it much at this point since I'm only a casual gamer during my spare time.

Tesselation. Increased mesh complexity without the performance hit.
