Question possible upgrade......need help 5770/5850!?!?

ok so.....the big question. im currently running a 512mb toxic 4870 and i love it. card blows through any game i throw at it on high without any trouble but i have been hearing alot about the new 5770/5850's......sepcifically the 5770's.....

any of the reviews i have read are showing that the 4870 is slightly better in performance but i know the 5770 is DX 11 and has the new monitor support and such......

i can always crossfire them which is def a plus so whatever i get im def going to throw it in with the 4870 and use what i have....

my question is this......what should i buy?!?! should i pick up a 5770? or blow the extra and get the 5850? i know everyone is probably gonna scream to get the 5850 but do you guys think if i couple a 5770 with my current 4870 that ill still be good? i need options!

I say don't waste your money. 5850's are impossible to find and you won't really see a lot of DX 11 games for awhile. Even then I still wouldn't upgrade unless your 4870's not cutting it graphically.

5770. 58xx is nearly impossible to find at the moment, plus, they're hella expensive mate. 5770 is $159 on NewEgg (excluding shipping) and they're in stock
Just crossfire them and you'll get awesome stuff.

i wouldnt say its wasting money, you can never have too many 58xx's, but you gotta ask yourself, will a slight performance increase be worth the short term cost that could best be spent on something else, 5770's are pretty decent, im still running a 9800gtx and i dont recon ill need an upgrade for at least another 12 months.......??

if your really dead set on buying it, ill be glad to take the 4870 off your hands
