Default WHERE ARE THE 5870's!
hey everyone, i recently built a computer for my buddy with a Sapphire 5870, phenom 955 BE etc. But i was asked by another person at school to build them a system that is DX11 ready and will handle any game for a while to come. so we chose every thing for the system and we got to card and no one has it, newegg, TD, Canada Computers... Where are all the 5870's? Did AMD give us a 1 month period to buy them and now that's it?

I bought them all and put them in super crossfire, my bad. Haven't updated rig specs yet, but it's 15,000 x 5870 mega Crossfire.

Seriously though, I think they are having problems with one of their manufactures of the chips.

I doubt that's in stock. I got one that was supposedly instock but when monday rolled around I was credited back b/c it was on backorder.

there is a shortage of 5870s around the world right now, there trying to pump out as much as they can but I heard that prices will be going up
