Default 5850 or 4890 for 24" monitor ?

Which one would you prefer and why for a 1920x1200 24" monitor ?

1920 x 1200 resolution?

If you can get your hands on one, go for a 5850. Performs well, overclocks great, Doesn't consume all that much power. Also has DX11 support and would do excellent possibly in crossfire in the future for that resolution.

Definatly the 5850, it's almost the second most powerful single-GPU graphic card on the planet.

It's better than a GTX 285, which means also far better than a single 4890.

What is the native resolution, that is probably more important than screen size. I'm guessing 1920x1200 or 1920x1080. The 5850 is faster, and DX11, it is the obvious choice IMO.

Native res is 1920x1200 and my 512mb 4870 is still doing a very good job at this res but specially in some games I also want to max out AA so I want to upgrade.

Hmm, why wouldn't you want the fastest of the 2, for higher resolutions?

You mean 5850 ? Because 4890 is cheaper and i am really curious about if the price difference worth it to go for an 5850.
