Default eyefinity setups/dual monitors...

Hello, I recently ordered a 5770 and I currently have an

Acer x223W and a X213H (1080p)

The Acer X213H which is basically the same thing except in 1080p , there both 21.5" screens... could I run eyefinity on them in the lower resolution of 1680x1050 ? If not, is 1080p really that much better over normal 1680x1050 ? I have never really "gamed" in 1080p (still waiting to put together my computer) but is it that much of a noticeable difference? Thanks ahead!

Heres the 1080P monitor

and the x223w

I've never used eyefinity, but I think that you could probably set both to 1680x1050 and get eyefinity to work correctly.

As far as a noticeable difference, try gaming in 1680x1050 and compare it to 1920x1200. There should be a difference.

I'd be surprised if you could game on those two monitors at high quality settings with a 5770

Yes I do it with my two sig monitors for FSX. Get 30fps average everything maxed out, including bloom and aa. Two monitors is useless for everything else, except flight sims like FSX and RTS's like Supreme commander.

Good luck!

I tried my 5770 on stock at 3840x1080 in crysis at high no aa. Got 22fps average. So yes it can run everything at high except crysis, pretty much. 60+ fps in COD, Supreme Commander, etc at 3840x1080. Upgrading to a 5850 soon though, 5770 in going in my brothers rig.
