Default GTO Artifact problem

Hey guys when i first bought ym x800gto and flashed it with the 16 pipes modd and oced it to 540/560 it would get no artifacts then i flashed to an x800xt and it would get artifacts with the same clocks so i flashed back to a gto and yet still getting artifacts ***?

Was the flash back the stock bios or the moded bios ? If it was the moded one flash factory back and check to see if it is ok.Usually an XT card will have tighter ram timings many of the less expensive version cards cannot handle.

Or it may because of the extra pipes because heard on Overclock.net that on some ati card a guy had when he softmodded the pipes he got artifacts, but when he put it back to stock it was fine, but try what diehrd said first.

ive had it at 16 pipes before and could get 540/560 easily
