Default moded x850 problem....please help

K, I have just flashed my new ati x850 pro to a xtpe. everything flashed right and it even shows 16 pipes with atitool.but I still have a serious problem. everytime I start my computer it still says I have new hardware connected. I have installed the new omega drivers and they show up and I can use the ati tray tool. The next big problem is every time I open up the 3d box in tray tools the screen scrambles or the machine restarts. I know the card will handle the timings because I have been running at xtpe times for a week without the 16 pipes. Please help, I am scared to even try to play css
