I might actually buy one of these since DX10 and Vista look like a big bust. If NVidia doesn't come out with theirs soon after this launches, I'll most likely pick one up, but I'm leaning towards Nvidia this round because the game I will be playing for the next 2 years is an OpenGL game. (dark and light online)

yea dude, one R580 will also break the bank btw lol... unless you happen to be a bachelor with a substantially large salary. but that doesn't stop me from wanting one whos know what ill do XD. but honestly if this card has what INQ says it has, its like ZOMG*** who needs this kind of performance? let alone two of them? in crossfire? the only game i can imagine needing that kind of power is like bf2 @ 2058x1538 (or w.e) with all settings max and adaptive anti-aliasing on a 64 man server with everyone throwing smoke grenades and blowing crap up simultaneously........ in other words, not likely. but it would be awesome to see the 3DMark05 score with that rig....., its also rumored that the RD580 northbridge will come out at the same time too.... the ATI SB600 is slated to come out 4-6 months later... (dont ask me for proof, i already said its a rumor)
