Default What is Catalyst 10.1 Xcode?
I'm new to ATI, I'm downloading drivers. What is the Catalyst 10.1 Xcode? and should I download and install it?

I have no idea what that is, couldnt find it on the 10.1 page.

I believe that Xcode is for OSX drivers. Unless you are using OSX, I think that you have the wrong ones.

I think it might have something to do with video encoding.... I'm guessing since I don't do encoding, it's not useful for me to download.. I only plan to game.

I downloaded the normal file, but saw this Xcode file was available too... so wasn't sure whether to download or not.

This is the file I first installed from Sapphire. I think it was the file right file. Anyhow, just noticed a Xcode file too, and was wondering if I needed it.. Looks like from what you guys are saying that I don't

Oh I see, looks like something sapphire has done for their cards, not ati in general. Still have no idea what it is. Still have no idea what it is, googled it and the only relevant thread that popped up was this one.

xcode is the AVIVO video encoder/decoders. It is only useful if you use Cyberlink MediaShow Espresso for GPU transcoding of videos.
