Asus ROG conference has brought many new products. Add one more to the list, the Poseidon. The new GPU series brings high performance GPUs along with hybrid cooling to the table. Hybrid refers to the combination of air cooling and water cooling. The card is supposed to work without water cooling i.e. its additional. According to the company this allows for lower temperatures and higher overclocks. How this works remains to be seen. Asus has introduced a new three-in-one notebook, which runs on Android & Windows 8 both. Yeah that's right both. The device has a special arrangement of hardware which makes it possible. It contains one Atom processor beneath the detachable screen along with other necessary components including battery. I've seen various benchmarks and there is a trend that some games play better on Nvidia and some on ATI,i.e. they are optimized for either hardware. Both future consoles are AMD hardware i.e. 8 core AMD processor and an Ati graphics solution. Now the Question arises, if both consoles which define the gaming industry are going AMD's way, then shouldn't all games soon(after a time) become optimized for multi-core setups and ATI cards. Because developers will definitely try to make the most of the hardware, this will definitely leave an impact on PC versions of games too.... read more

The GTX 780 which launched some time earlier is a trimmed down version of the GTX Titan. Yeah, it uses the same GK110 chip although smaller. The average result is that Titan maintains a healthy 15% performance advantage over GTX 780. But at the same time GTX 780 at $650 costs little compared to the whopping $1000 Titan.
