I did not realized you got the same issue ^^

3,557 with my old 7800 GS and now: 4,427 I scored P2136 in Vantage, when I had Ultimate (32bit) installed, although that was at stock speeds on the 3850. (Core: 669 / Mem: 829)

Ha, as I type i am finishing a P4 3.2 with a P4p800se and a 2600agp for my little brother. For a 12 year old and upgrading from a 800 duron he should be happy.
ya your cpu is holding you back big time but for gaming the card should make up for it and play most games at a decent rate.

Do you feel an important change with this new AGP card, in frame rate?

Without a doubt it's considerably more powerful.
It doesn't feel like I'm struggling to play NFS: ProStreet, CoD4, DoW: Soulstorm, Timeshift, BioShock & Gears of War, since the upgrade. Everything feels much more fluid, and across all my games I rarely have any massive loss of frames. I always play my games at 1920x1200, and I've been able to turn on a lot more features and still keep my fps smooth. I know it's not the most taxing of engines, but I can now run Guild Wars at 1920x1200 with everything maxed and rarely drop below the maximum 60 FPS (with Vsync on). That said, I'm still waiting to play the more taxing titles (SupCom: Forged Alliance, Assassin's Creed, Crysis etc) till after my next new build. It isn't going to transform your rig, but it'll certainly make it more enjoyable. If you want to spend €117, try here: Sapphire 3850
