Thanks, wonder if the original poster would be ok with updating the thread to include 3DMark06.

I'd be interested to see what similar spec'd rigs could do and if anyone with a similar set-up, as in a 939 based rig could do.

I haven't found one yet.

As in more benchmarks?

I don't see why not, besides the fact that I have to do more work

Hopefully most of the people here have not sold their AGP rigs yet...I'm sure most have though

AHHH! I miss my AGP rig I didn't even get a chance to test it to its full potential due to bad cooling... so I was only running off stock volts and stock GPU...
As I have watched my name slowly move down to 12th I have wanted my rig back more and more just to see how high I really could get it.

But for an even better experience, I'd recommend Win95. Even more skinned down, which means MORE PERFORMANCE!

I don't want to cause more work load for you at all. If anything I'll look out my copy of 3DMark03 and give that a blast once I've figured out how to make this bloody MSI board stable. It's so damn temperamental. It's actually worse than the ASUS A8V I have, which has a VIA chipset.

Thanks you anyway though.

Unless I can finally get my hands on a 3.4EE SL7CH (Gallatin core), which was my dream upgrade for this system when I first built it, I don't think I'll be able to improve on my current score.

Nice score!

Once I've got my CPU back to 2.75/2.8GHz I'll see what I get in 03 and see if I can push 10K in 06.

3DMark06 is much more CPU-weighted than 03. I'll probably try for more and attempt to get my Gallatin stable at ~4.0. Think I'll need a little more NB voltage, or possibly run with just 2GB installed; if the CPU itself isn't the limiting factor. Either way I'm more than happy with breaking the 30K barrier in 03.

I my new CPU, almost as much as I love my weighted companion cube.

Yeah 06 is, so I'll whack on 03 at some point this weekend when I get time to actually start stressing my new mobo.

You've got to aim for 32,000 now.
