Introduction

ORB (Online Results Browser) is futuremark's way of validating scores attained when running their 3DMark and PCMark benchmark applications. ORB is used by people to set a dedicated compare link for their benchmark scores. Posting a compare link showing your benchmark score allows users to prove to others that they are not making their scores up. This brief FAQ will explain how to create a free ORB account so that you too can create your own compare links.

Create Free ORB Account

To create an ORB account simply run one of futuremark's newer benchmarks that requires you to view your scores online.

After the benchmark has completed its run you should click the message box shown below.



This will open up in your web browser as a result analyzer showing you your score. This screen is not a validated ORB compare link! Compare links can only be made in ORB accounts. To create your ORB account simply click the register button shown in the image below.



Scroll down the page until you see the options to register a new ORB account. You can see the information required to register a Free ORB account in the image below.



Please note that whatever email address you enter will become your new ORB account username.

There you have it, you can now log into your ORB account to verify your benchmarks with compare links. You can only publish one compare link for each of the futuremark benchmarks at any one time. There is also an average five slot limit for storeing benchmark results for each type of benchmark.
