Default Occt!

i ran occt without overclock !!

after three minutes of runnin it hit cpu threshold temp 69c!

i have a hyper 48 for cpu coolin and still ???

my idle is 47-48c!

can nyone help me with this!!

if ya need ny further info just let me know!

Yeah try to re-seat you heat sink on the cpu. The TIM may not sufficiently spread out too.

Try using CoreTemp and let us know what temps you get.

I do not like OCCT's temp monitoring. It seems way to high compared to others. I would do as suggested and run others (coretemp, speedfan, etc.) and compare. Also, look in BIOS and see what that reports. if it is still high, try a re-seat.

If I recall right occt jsut uses whatever temp monitoring you have installed so if you ahve coretemp it will use coretemp to record your temps.

As you can see from his screen shot coretemp and occt are within 1C of each other.

His problem lies else where probably with his heatsinc installation or how much tim he used

the cpu overheats to 70c after just 3min of occt run , but it cools quickly again under 50c in just 2min!!!!!!!!!!!

if the heatsink is not seated properly then it ll not cool down that fast ryt ????
