Default Upgraded From AMD 6000+ To Intel Q6600 3dmark Score Dropped !!!

I recently upgraded my MB from Asus m2n32-sli to an Evga 780i...and also upgraded my cpu from Amd 6000+ to an Intel Q6600 and my 3dmark score went from 13069 down to 12263.....what the hell did i do wrong ?? i am baffled as i figured my score would have drastically improved.

I believe 1st thing you should do is to show us a link to your score and possibly tell us what your Shader 2.0, shader 3.0, and cpu score is...that way we can help you better with figuring out where the problem is.

well, you might have to overclock that cpu. a 6000+ at stock might beat a Q6600 at stock if the cores arent being used properly. but you should be able to OC pretty high on water with that q6600

Of course im going to overclock...i just got the new system back together and i was just running the test to get a basis as to where i was at stock speeds...but having the AMD dual core beat the pants off the Intel quad really blows me away.....

so you have no proof to back up you claims?

btw I proved in the top 30single gpu thread that a qx9650 @4.2 loses to am e8400 @4.58 in 3dmark 06

LOL...i am not out to prove anything !!!!! i was a hardcore AMD fan for life...this is my very FIRST Intel build. You act as if my intention was to prove Amd is better than Intel.....you couldnt be more wrong. i want this system to be faster than my last one...thats why i upgraded...as far as the "proof" you seek , i will take screenshots next time....but im not gonna reassemble my AMD system just to prove anything.....i know what my scores are and were and thats all the proof i need. i overclock for myself , not you.
