So I'm running OCCT as I type this, but there's a few things I want to make sure about... first, I'm running two dual core CPU's (four cores), and OCCT shows 2 cores in the "core number" box, and lists temps for CPU1 and CPU2. Is this as it should be (like CPU1 is for socket 1, and both cores), or is OCCT confused? It says that OCCT can handle up to eight dual core CPU's in one system, so I assume everything is legit, but I want to make sure I'm reading it the right way. Second, I'm running a WC system, and after 30 minutes of OCCT (CPU only, non-"mix"; this is also after my coolant has reached its normal idle temperature) my temps don't really change more than a degree or two... so is my WC system that efficient, or is OCCT not very efficient at stressing the cores...? Thanks!
EDIT: I should add that I'm looking at my temps through both OCCT and Speedfan... and both agree about the minimal change in temps. EDIT#2: For reference, my temps idle at about 31-35c, and with OCCT running they range from about 35-38c, in both OCCT and Speedfan.

Well first of all I'm not sure how OCCT takes two seperate CPUs in a single system.
What you can do is open Task Manager and see if all 4 cores are at 100% load or not. Also, for temperatures you want to use Core Temp or HWMonitor. SpeedFan isn't that great and is known for incorrect sensor reports.

I think its more that I only have two blocks plumbed into the WC system that actually have cores producing heat, versus 2x 240 rads, and 2x 120 rads to remove the heat. As for ambient heat, its always a little warm when I stick my hand in the case, however I also leave the door wide open at the moment... otherwise the ambient temp would be a lot higher, as my components produce quite a bit, or so it seems.
