When I start 3dMark it freezes my computer (cant select icons or anything), I can open the task manager and it says "Program not Responding", then when I close 3dMark from task manager my computer is fine again.
I originally thought it was because of my high OC, but when I returned the settings to stock it still continues to have the same problem. All of my other programs work perfectly fine. This is happening with all my 3dMark programs 03,05, & 06. How can I fix this? (I already tried re-installing them, even tried uninstalling with Revo-Uninstaller, I re-installed them with freshly downloaded trial versions) What is wrong here? (I really want to bench my Q9550 at 4.3Ghz+ =( )

Check your temperatures during the benchmark and note the point where it freezes.

My CPU temperature is rite at 25c idle, and 28c load. And they really don't get any higher than that... (at least with this ambient temperature)

Usually about 1c lower than my CPU ambient and like my CPU the temperature barely ever moves even under load... I can't even recall it going over 35c under load... Temperatures aren't much of a concern with my watercooling system.
And the 3dMark programs wont even boot with my system at stock settings...

Try different ATI drivers. You could start with the recent hotfix release.

If it's stuck on the loading screen try adding the -nosysteminfo tag to the 3DMark desktop shortcut target, it should look something like this. "C:\Program Files\Futuremark\3DMark06\3dmark06.exe" -nosysteminfo

That was supposed to be fixed in the driver update. Anyhow try updating first.
