Man, I need a new card, or for someone to lend me a 3870 , I make it onto the list, but barely, then again I'm one of 6 with single cards!

Basicly start with a fresh install with minimal drivers and the latest updates. For instance if your just benching you don't need a sound card driver but you will need a video card driver.

Previous best with a massively unstable GPU overclock was 12960. I'll bet I can push that score a bunch higher when i overclock the twins.(edit:they're oc'ed now)

EDIT:
Stupid 3dmark defaulted to 1280x800. had to change monitor drivers
this is with 700 core 1000 (2000 effective)
also, is it just me, or do ATI cards not like SM 2.0 tests? it hardly bumped at all from the overclock.

also o_O I just looked at our list. I have the top scored dual core on there. WOW
That's like saying I have the fastest 5th gen honda prelude on my block! Lol just kidding good job! Wonder what you would score on a 4x4 Board?

What kind of crash? Sometimes when I run 3DMark06 and it crashes it means by overclock is unstable. Not saying that this is the case for you but it could be a possibility.
