Default Are GPU Benchmarks better on NVidia?
Seems that I don't score as high with my 4830 as many people do with their 9800 or 8800GTs, since I usually get like 11000 on 3DMark06.

the 4830 isnt as powerful as 8800gt as far as I kno.

I was pretty sure it beats the 9800GT, especially with my OC.

I assume your talking about your sig rig (Q6600 + single 4830)? Is everything at stock? Teufle is very wrong. The HD4830 is equal to or faster than the 8800GT/9800GT (google 4830 review).

No, everything is OC'd. My Q6600 is at 3.0GHz, and my 4830 is at 700/1005.

ATI cards perform better in games than in benchmarks. I have not kept up with the latest ATI drivers, but this is how it has been for a while. My friends 8800GTS G92 scored better in 3dmark06 than my HD4850. But my 4850 killed the GTS in every games we tested.
