There's one that you have to patch to run on x64 systems. Version 1.1.0 comes already patched.

Here's the one I used: 3DMARK06.

You have to Run As Administrator if you don't have the UAC turned off and a "true" Admin account activated.

I use it in Vista 64 bit and it always works for me.
Im using the 1.1.0 version but I should try right clicking and running as ADMIN to see if that does anything. Its just so wierd that when I bumped my PCI-e bus up to 101 from 100 it helped but didnt fix it. I tried going al the way up to 115 with no luck. (Anything higher is dangerous).

per this post Shader straps

My system would produce the error in 06 with a 1548 strap showing - if I dropped the OC down to the 1512 setting it would run without issue. (In 06 v1.1)

And strangely vantage would run all the way through with the 1548 shader strap. Like you gaming runs just fine, as does furmark and ati tool. It's an issue that I wouldn't mind resolving but if benchmarking is the only thing that is wonky... ehhh I will work on it more when I have more time.

Thanks man I think Im going to try DJs tip when I get home tonight and lower the shader really low and see what happens.

Thanks for the info! Definately going to give this a go later tonight when I get home, just have to come up with an excuse of why I dont want to see my girl tonight...
