Default 3DMark06 Error!

OK heres the deal, I have been trying to run 3DMark06 on my sig rig and it keeps giving me an error at the exact same spot. It right after the first test and on the firefly test. Now I have already done the basic things to trouble shoot.

- Set everything to default speeds
- Reinstalled Drivers
- Installed DX9 updates
- Reinstalled 3DMark06

I have done a lot of searching through Google and a lot of people have been having this error and Im not sure if it something to do with my x64 OS.

The only thing that has produced any kind of fix what so ever has been increacing my PCI-e frequency in the BIOS from 100 to 101. This allows me to not crash right at the beginning of the test but almost get to the end of it before it crashes. Any advice is greatly appriciated and +Rep for sure!

Pics of the errors

I didn't have any luck with those, I'm back to the 182.08 driver.

A lot of errors/problems? I have had excellent performance with these and the ONLY problem with them is this 3DMark problem. I really hope it is just a driver issue. I know for a fact my OC is stable, 6 hour gaming sessions and Furmark/ATItool stable. But the problems there even when my clocks are at stock. Would +Rep but...

I was getting those errors in 3dMark06 - only way I could complete a run was backing down to a lower strap.
Vantage and games would run just fine at the higher settings tho. Wish I had more insight, just figured you would like to hear you aren't alone. Btw I also use the 185.85 drivers

OK good to hear Im not alone! What do you mean a lower strap? And you could run Vantage fine but not 3DMark06? Sorry, I just want to get this solved ASAP cause I want to see what my system with my new 260 is getting.

Which 3DMark is that?

There's one that you have to patch to run on x64 systems. Version 1.1.0 comes already patched.

Here's the one I used: 3DMARK06.

You have to Run As Administrator if you don't have the UAC turned off and a "true" Admin account activated.

I use it in Vista 64 bit and it always works for me.
