First Time Build
|
Hi there. I've recently completed my first build and I want to know the performance of my machine, and what I should be aiming for with my set up (to make sure everything is working together correctly). I don't know anything about benchmarking, and wondered if there's any free checks I can do to ensure my pc can perform as it should. All help greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Well as for benching, PC Mark Vantage, 3D Mark Vantage (or 03, 05, 06), HD Tune, Super Pi. Those will test your CPU, GPU, and HDD. The problem will be finding comparable hardware, but if you look through the threads in this section you'll find records to strive towards. But I'm also sure if you were to post and ask if your results were good, people wouldn't mind helping you out.
