Default What do YOU do When Stability Testing?

Having just seen Clockadile Dundee’s new post in the Intel forums here where one has to stress test their PC for 48+ hours to be eligible, I wondered just what everyone did when they’re stress testing their PC for hours on end. I can barely send an email…

So what do you do when you’re stress testing?

Blink.

Of course, my idea of stress testing is SuperPi 1M.

yeah but 2 hour of blend is equal to almost nothing.
I run 6 hours of small FFT's and memtest another 6 hours
if that passes, I declare it stable.

I only stress test in OCCT(linpack) for 10 hours. If it can pass that, its stable in my opinion.

My Mom don't like the PC on overnight. =P

Run Linx for 20min and then SuperPi 32m, then I go play games, run photoshop and watch HD stuff(not all at once) I long stress testing is boring the only reason I would ever run it would be as part of the requirements for some club or oc competition, even then I don't know if I would. For me its stable if I can run all the programs I want to on it without crash's bsod's etc...

I can actually still browse the web, so I'll be surfing like usual. LinX doesn't slow me down too much.

If not, I'll be on my shiny new super-cool-awesome-attracts-girls Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC.
