Northern Cali LN2 event: XS/OCN
On the 17th of this month, I will be attending a LN2 party hosted by 'SAV' 'kylepaddock' and 'eligray' of XS. So far there are ~6-8 attending..lots of brimming Dewars and a whole lot of hardware!
 I will be covering the event for OCN, as well as benching some of my own hardware in the mix.  'We' are still working out the details and goals, as the date rapidly approaches...I will update the post as soon as things start getting laid out. So far, heres a look at some of the hardware to be benched [official hardware tally soon]: CPU's: W3570 i7 975XE- few benchies at 4.8ghz i7 920 D0 E8400 ES- few benchies at 5.1 E7400 P4 551 E8500 E8600 Pentium 4 Cedar Mill ES- 5.8ghz..verification pending Sempron 140 unlockable Athlon II x2 215 Phenom II 720be & Patch's crazy Celeron GPU's: X1950pro- confirmed kill GTX260- not sure if any recorded runs were submitted GTX295 8800GS- benched at 1070mhz core, before moisture issues 4850 9800GTX 5870'ssss- benched on '03..verification pending as of now...Mobo selection: 1336 - EVGA Classy, Gigabyte UD5 775 - BlackOps, MIIF, Commando, TPower i45 and Rampage Extreme x48 AM3- CH3 ...and of course, a plethora of SSD's POTS are still in Question...from the sounds of it, we have 2x confirmed F1EE's a few mousepots and a few ghetto pots as well. Also supposed to be in attendance; 1x Phase unit and 2x chillers. Goals for the event: *Making an official entry for the Gigabyte GTX260 comp *Breaking 8ghz for Celeron- new WR..? *Setting new single GPU records for various cards *WR for P4 Cedar Mill
