Default Need help getting to 23000 in 3dmark06
Ok so i was able to get 20477 with my Q6700 and 9800GTX+ setup. Now im stuck at 22708 with my Q9550 and 9800GTX+ setup so what can i do now? HELP I WOULD LOVE TO GET 23000.

OR HAVE I REACHED THE END OF THE SETUP?

I take it you are pretty much at your limit on the overclocking front yes?

Have you tried disabling and killing all non-essential processes and services running in the background?

I think im going to order a 8GB SSD and just put WIN on it and 3dmark and see if it will get tha 300 extra points.

But yes all processes i can kill are killed. i cant get past my oc on this board im guessing cause of air cooling.

Ok well i got 22923 but the damn pc locked before i could get it posted so i think im at the peak. i cant get anymore OC on anything.

i have tryed it locked up even at 1.45v.

Wow. To actually get 22000 3dmarks with SLIed 9800GTX+! I am impressed. I think I hit 16000 with a Q9550 @ 3 GHz and a HD4890.

Try lowing memory timings or making the RAM a little faster, doesn't help much in games or anything but you don't need much to get 23k.

I have a little phrase i go by. (It's not broke till it smokes). and ive smoked a few LOL.

My hardware hates me. it just wont go any faster.

So is this a good score anyway?
