My company makes HD Video Multiplex Systems and our new hardware is using 95%+ of the system BUS. Is there any software that can monitor the system BUSs? Like PCI-E, PCI-X, and FSB for bandwidth usage and throughput?
Thanks for your time --Chris |

How do you they are using that much of the bus? It's generally very difficult to staturate buses unless you have some high-end hardware or unusual setups (i.e. RAID of SSDs).

7- PCI-E 8X NVS 450, and up to 14- dual port DVI capture cards.
We can adjust affect the frame rate by moving the cards from one PCI-E channel to another, or by the amount of network traffic and Hard Drive Traffic. Even opening IE will drop all the video feeds for a minute! --Chris |
