Some motherboards perform worse at a certain FSB. I know it applies to nvidia chipsets, not so sure about intel.

Scores tend to vary in points on any setup regardless of the clock speeds but sometimes certain FSB speeds tend to be even slightly unstable enough that it can cause a drop in points instead of the increase we all like to see. IMO going from 3.36 to 3.4 I don't seeing giving you much of an increase in points anyway though. Just my

Maybe your motherboards 'internal timings' which could have caused the drop when you went to 3.4ghz didn't reset when you changed the FSB back. Try loading optimized defaults or reset cmos and set the 3.36ghz again.

Unlikely. It's more likely that if you're doing it on the same session as the last time you ran it, another process is having more and more in the way of resource demands. A variance is expected between all results, however, so maybe nothing is happening at all. It could be entirely normal.
