Mixed feelings about it but should be a good final year to my high school career (grade 11, we only go that high). Looking to find a new lady friend hopefully. There's one I've been interested in for ages but she doesn't feel the same... Maybe just maybe this year :o

I work at a restaurant as a dishwasher, AKA everybody's *****.

I'm sick of getting treated like garbage for such little pay.
I'm sick of having to let my boss know 2 weeks ahead of time when I need a day off... Who schedules anything less than a vacation 2 weeks ahead of time?
I'm also sick of the fact that I sweat my arse off because he doesn't A/C the kitchen. (Hit over 40C yesterday and about 38C tonight)

Buuuut. I want to go to Europe for 14 days with school which will cost me $3500. My parents can't afford it all so I have to work to pay for it so I can;t just quit. Plus no one is hiring because thanks to the idiotic media who overexcite and embellish EVERYTHING... No one is hiring.

OK no more ranting about everything but this certainly has been bottling up within me for a while and I needed to let loose a bit. Sorry about any grammar and spelling errors :o

Well once we got to the border everyone pulled out their ID and got ready to show the boarder guard who... Yesterday (Saturday) I went on a Rod Roy ski trip (A program that you get on a coach bus every Saturday and go to different hills within 3 hours away) and we went to Jay Peak just in Vermont. Well once we got to the border everyone pulled out their ID and got ready to show the boarder guard who would be boarding the bus.
When 3 guards came on the bus we were slightly phased but didn't really think much of it. They immediately came to the back and checked the washroom as usual. One girl giggled for some reason and they immediately ordered everyone off the bus and we had to stand outside while they ran drug dogs through the bus.
Once we got back on the bus they started scanning for radiation! One guy for some reason had slight traces of radiation in his jaw (Supposedly you get that from surgery) and he was immediately pulled off the bus.
Everyone else checked out fine but this one guy had to call his parents from the border 2 and a half hours away and wait for them to come pick him up and sign release papers.

I don't want to point fingers at anyone but how come the U.S. have been becoming so jumpy on their neighbor and friend the Canadians?

I felt like they didn't trust us and that we were all guilty for NOT being American...

Just thought I would keep my blog alive and give you a short story of my weekend :)

I'll be 15 on July the 9th. Anyways I just applied at a local restaurant for a bus boy job and I got it! $8.75 per hour plus a cut of the tips. It's not much but by the end of the summer I should be able to build my first decent system!
