Just a plain simple blog of a very little outgoing person that I am.

Expect me to rave about my folding milestones than my troubles in life, my personality keeps almost all of them within myself.

Still folding strong!

Well, few more days went through since I began folding. Leaving my rig on 24h a day this weekend really helped. I'm already on top 1500 with well over 11K points

I'm really thinking if I should get a dedicated rig to fold. Few calculations threw me into a 200~220W rig to fold 24/7, bringing me 5KWh, and little more than 20€ per month... But then again, I'd throw the VCR on the living room the hell out and introduce my mom to the digital recording era with a HTPC

I wonder if I can beat 10k PPD with 2 8800GS and an E6550... Somehow I doubt it though. We'll see what I can do.

Hah, congrats dude, even though I don't fold since my current pc is too crappy, (my sig rig isn't built yet), keep on folding!
I've read a lot about folding and I plan on doing so as well myself once my rig is finished :P

    Keep it up!!!

It's a lot harder getting into the Top 1000 then it was when I started folding lol I remember it being something like 4,000 points

That was only a year ago Things have changed a lot but now I am finally in the Top 300

    Keep at it!

    Thanks guys

And wow... in a year the minimum jumped from 4000 to almost 40000!?

I'll be happy in the top 1K, and getting a dedicated folder will keep me there and help me climb slowly. I just have to see if I can sustain a 24/7 folder, even if I only use one GPU for now, and later on add another, IF I ever get a raise... damn boss.

I agree with you there mega but the thing is, most of the time I am quite care free, even though I tend to succeed with some troubles sometimes and all... there will be times that I won't, gladly I never experienced that but...

...even careless as I am, I plan out things before taking the dive. If I get something on my mind there's hardly anyone that can take it off.

    Thanks for the support.

    I am the same way

I have a dedicated folding rig right now, but being a full-time student and having to pay rent + hydro + gas + car insurance + tuition + food + books... I do the best that I can

I mean, I am not looking to hit the one million mark although that would be awesome. I just do it for the science behind it as I am after all a biochemistry student

    Take Care!

Wow, having that much to worry about it's not easy! Must be quite hard to keep up with all those expenses. Although it's great that you can still spare some for your money on your folding rig.

1 Million takes quite a while, but you'll get there! After all not all can have a few dozen GPUs crunching for cures I cannot imagine Nitteo's expenses on electricity bills...

But I do it for both ways: For science, and for some competition fun! And I folded before, back in 2005 when I first heard of F@H on my old Athlon XP 2000+

Thanks for the support Take care!
