Waving a dead chicken and other voodoo

It seems there are a large number of members here who, when confronted with a technical problem, just make wild guesses as to what it might be, instead of actually trying to solve it. There are also a large number of members here who, when confronted with a technical problem, disengage their brains completely when asking for help.



This drives me absolutely nuts.

So I ran a series of penguins with big guns as my avatar for the past week or two and they seem to have gone over well. I think it's time for a change. How about something along these lines?





I'm just saying, you know. Chicks dig Linux.

Or I could go back to Windows bashing exposing for what it is, a complete...

Vista is still Hard Gay!

Strangely almost everybody seems to like this avatar, both Windows and Linux users. (I have been entirely unable to locate a Mac user.) On the advice of somebody I made it transparent. I think it looks a bit better now.

I might even keep this avatar more than a week.

Though UNIX really wouldn't hold a gun gangsta-style. It's impossible to hit anything like that.
