680i Sli LT Vs. 780i Sli

ya i have the 680i and i wanted to upgrade to the 780i but idk if i should what should i do is there a big diff in the two or what and evga has the a1 version whats that mean help me out thx

do you have a quad or dual core?
the A1 is basically a new revision of the board, i cant remember exactly but im pretty sure it was to support quad cores and fix some small issues with the board.
if you have a quad, then the 780i would be a good idea as 680i's such for overclocking quads, and keeping them stable. i used to have the XFX 680i LT. great board but yeah, mission to overclock a quad.Posted 10-01-08 at 10:04 PM by gtarmanrob
