Stress Overwhelming

Its been a stressful week, lets recap.
-Our newest car, the rods are knocking(this means its done).(mind you that its a 98 but still our newest)
-The oven broke(warranty work will take 10 days before it will be fixed)
-Dryer broke looking at 4 days before they come look at it.
-My razor cellphone died....for the third time.
-We are foster parents, we have had two kids with us for 10 months, the kids just got a new case worker, and she has a hard on for their dad. She is rushing them back to him. Now lets give a little history, they are 10months and 3.5years old. We have had the 10 month old since he was 24 hours old. The 3.5 year old has spend more time in the system than out with her parents. The dad who is all thats left(mom disappeared) has been busted for possession SINCE the kids came into state care...we really wanted to adopt and the parents are horrible, which I would love to share more but can't.

Ugh, that sounds horrible. Best of luck to you, especially with the kids. Crossing my fingers for you guys that you may keep them.. I've got friends who are foster parents, and those kids mean the world to them.. Been crossing my fingers for them as well.
As far as the cell phone goes, I hear you on the Razr phone troubles. I've had troubles with them and so have a few relatives.. They break too easily.
If you're going to try for a different phone model.. Try something from Sony Ericsson's walkman series. I currently use a w810i (3+ years, still going strong) and I love it. Would only replace it with a Blackberry, but that would mean a different service plan.. For a while I owned a w560.. But um.. That fell 14 stories.. Elevator shaft @ Red Lion hotel in Seattle (was there for Penny Arcade expo).
Was nice while it lasted...
Another SE phone people rave about is the K800i. Not a walkman phone (better camera though..), but some claim they'd never use any other phone in place of it.
Anyhow, best of luck to you. Take care.Posted 02-04-09 at 08:33 AM by timxirish

aw good luck with the kids.
it would be really sad and pathetic if the kids ended up going back with their dad. i mean the way i see it is that the dad probably had many chances to man up and be a dad...and he probably never took those chances. and you guys are happy with the kids and you're kind and generous enough to take them as your own...which is something that their dad never wanted to do. it's pathetic how the system works though.
i really hope things work out for you.Posted 02-04-09 at 10:42 AM by catmmm
