I had an Everex XT5000T go out on me, no post, no nothing. Well turns out Everex is now out of business and lots of XT5000T owners are having this problem.A few of them have baked their mobos even to fix it. I was skeptical but I didn't have anything to lose the board was already dead.

So today I set our little stove in the kitchen to work. 392F (or close enough anyways) for 15mins it sat on a pizza tray socket side up, just the way i like them! To finish I added a light tomato chutney and creme sauce... ok maybe not. I badly burned a cap and melted about 50% of the plastic stickers off and it looks like it's been through the oven too! Anyways I've had it on all day since 10am and now i'm posting this.

If you come across this along with all those postings on the internet suggesting this and you're skeptical about it, it does work but I don't know for how long. But since they aren't making new motherboards give it a shot.

Lmao, the method sounds so crazy, but i'm not surprised it works. Same sort of thing is done to fix Xbox 360's with RRoDs
