What has Happened to the News Section?

Posted 10-19-07 at 11:31 PM by pauldovi

Note: The screen shots supplied in this post are 100% real and may be disturbing to intelligent life forms.

Have you seen the Industry News section recently? I have... it is abysmal:

There are 15 entry for every rumor, most of them with the same title. Note I said rumor, because the good majority of news post are rumors. Each new news post seems to contradict the one before it (or 8).

Then you get to the people who will believe any website in existence, no matter how outlandish the claim, no matter how horrid their reputation is... it still gets posted here.

I don't even want to comment on Video Game or Software Sections:

So perhaps we can have restraint here. Don't post Google Translate version of some Chinese Blog. Don't post lies from Fudzilla... it is waisting our time, Overclock.net's resources, and it is giving Fudzilla way to many hits.

Reminds me of Green Day's "American Idiot."

Specifically, the verse that says, "And can you hear the propaganda?/The subliminal mind fxxx, America?"

Good point, I think this should be in the suggestions section.

Say no to Tech Rumors, just ignore them.
