Point of view...
When I hear news or opinions about consoles or ATI/Nvidia or AMD/Intel, I have a certain way I TRY to do things. Like, when I heard the news that Sony shut down Lik-Sang, I got pretty pissed. I mean why should they shut down a successful company that helped them make tons of money in importing games? When I hear stuff like that, I usually have a "Personal" side and a more "legally correct" side, like if a hacker hacks some big computer and got 6 years in prison I would be pissed. But thats my personal side of it. The other side of me would have to agree with the law.
Of course I don't think the hacker should get that long of a sentence either but it is the law. What I'm saying is, I try to make myself be un-biased, no matter what. Which is why my sig says ":gotproof:The Neutral Fanboy:gotproof:." and I got really mad at l33t masta before he got banned. He was saying completely untrue things about open-source like he was being paid by a company to do it!
Of course I prefer some brands to others, but I try to not be crazy about it. I usually try to give a legit reason for saying what I'm saying.
I hope more than a couple people read this, because I thought it would be good for people to know why I say things the way I say them(did that make sense?). I also hope theres no problem with this blog post being okay with the TOS or not. Don't know why it wouldn't but I wanna be careful. I also also hope someone likes this...For the people that do read this, what did you think of my first real blog post?

I also hate fan bois with a passion. They will argue forever back and forth proving nothing other than the fact of how ignorant they are*, yes you can have your personal favorite things, but the key is to be able to see that everybody else's favorite things do have their positive qualities also.
*See almost every 360 vs PS3 thread that kept popping up there for awhile.Posted 09-03-07 at 12:20 AM by Kamakazi

Thanks for the comment, good to get anothers opinion on it. I try to think of myself as open-minded, which for some reason makes me get really angry at some people. One of my friends is a huge sony fanboy and I can't get him to even consider the 360 has certain advantages.Posted 09-03-07 at 12:23 AM by RickJS

Yes I know how it feels, I have a 360 fanboi friend, which shouldn't bug me because I own a 360 and would never touch a PS3, but he is just so over the top, he thinks Sony is basically the spawn of Satan and the PS3 can do nothing, nothing right while the 360 can't go wrong, it is the most ridiculous thing ever.
And that same friend also hates Apple with a passion I rarely see in anybody.Posted 09-03-07 at 12:35 AM by Kamakazi

I am not going to lie when I say I am quite confused about your comment regarding the hacker and his prison sentence. Seems you jumped off on a tangent.
Don't know who l33t masta was... but I am sort of interested in some dirt on that story.
Having a good argument is critical. There is nothing wrong with a strong claim... as long as it is backed up by strong logic.Posted 11-02-07 at 11:45 PM by pauldovi
