Thread hounding

Posted 11-02-07 at 12:14 PM by RonindeBeatrice

I've noticed lately that I tend to check back in a thread I've posted in to see if people take notice of, or disagree with my post. This almost compulsive desire to further protect my point after the fact has kinda started to wear me out. I think I'm going to go in, start a fire and then GTFrickO from now on. I feel no need to defend anything I write now as honestly, I generally feel that I know what I'm talking about and if I'm proven incorrect I'm not ashamed to modify my original post to reflect that.

No more thread whoring for me.

As long as you feel you have given good information then there is no point in getting worked up about someone saying you are wrong. Must knowledgeable members usually back up others anyways.

Ha ha, I do the same thing. Except when I do it, it's usually out of a needed sense of acceptance, lol. I want to know that I'm noticed.

Don't worry, though. Anytime I see you weigh in on a topic, you're right 99% of the time. And if you're ever wrong about something, typically it's so far over my head that it takes someone else to point it out.

Man this is an old blog, but it was a random featured blog that looked interesting, so I'm posting my reply anyway.
