The battery life just plain sucks. It doesn't even last as long as my year old iPhone. And the reception is only marginally better if that. Other than that they do the same thing, the 3G has some nice features, but I don't live in a 3G reception area and I haven't had to use GPS yet.

So anyway... I post on the apple discussion forms and pretty much say what everyone's been thinking... that it is possible that we were lied to about battery life etc. The 3G is supposed to be so much better than the original, it is faster, cheaper has cool features and is a 2nd go so apple should be refining the process not taking a step backwards.

Now, Last night I got a few apple fanboys get on and tell me that I wasn't doing things properly, I needed to turn things off... which I expected I mean after all it is apple forums. But when I just got up to see about 10 posts I go to the forum to read it and the tread has been completely deleted. ***! :swearing: there wasn't anything bad there, it was an honest discussion between apple users like myself who aren't fully satisfied with our overpriced apple products and some fanboys. No one was swearing (apple censors...lol found that out yesterday when I typed ***) and no one was (well yet) attacking anyone personally. We hit up Dark Knight, and if anyone hasn't seen it I highly recommend checking it out. It's a highly entertaining movie, excellent performances by both Heath Ledger and Christian Bale.

After the movie we did some shopping, one of our stops being the liquor store. We purchased enough that we got a nice discount :D but neither of us are carded. No, big deal, we walk out with me carrying a case and my wife carrying what didn't fit in the box ;) (no we aren't planning a party, this is just for us :eek:)

Later on we made a quick Walmart stop to pick up some odds and ends. One of them being Superglue and I grabbed a 6 pack of JW Dundee's Honey Brown Lager. Now, of all the alcohol we purchased today do we get carded for any of it? No! but we sure got carded for the SuperGlue!

How crazy is that? What has the world come to when alarms go off for Superglue and aerosols products, but not for alcohol? yeah, I've been thinking that for some time now, but even though I don't have time to waste... yet I find myself here... hmm... decided to have a little fun anyway.

But anyway, I highly suggest everyone go here and check out the free sampler CD. I filled out the order form about a week ago and my shiny new CD came all the way from Norway. It's pretty sweet and is designed to look like an LP. It sounds pretty good too with a good selection.
