Hey guys. How you been? Me, Not so good. Ive had several bad problems with my rig lately. My rig has been down for more than a month... One day the computer shut down because I did it and when I went to turn it back on it would shut itself off after 3 seconds.. I was confused. When I took the CPU out it would stay on. WHen I put it in it would shut itself off. So I RMA'D the mobo because I assumed it was that and the bios was screwed up. I tell them to give me the bios That supports Phenom which in most cases is the stock ASUS M2n SLI deluxe Bios. They didnt listen and sent me a dead board More messed up then my first board and a supper old bios. After fighting with ASUS for a week they said they would pay my shipping and give me 2 day shipping on the way back. SO i did that. It took another 2 weeks to get this board only to find that once again I had a bios that was older than both the boards they sent me... Ohh yea I yelled at them and they sent me a bios. I installed the CPU and it shut itself off again. The cpu still had this white crap on the bottom of it as if someone tried to Phase change it. But they changed their minds.. Anyway SO I Didnt think it would pass AMD's visual inspections so I tried cleaning it all off. I did everything.. Scrubbed the CPU for 3 hours straight. Soaked it in alchohol and the everything. BUt it passed AMD inspection even though there was white crap on it. Then after only 2 days after I sent it. I sent it with 2 day shipping they shipped me a brand new one on the same day with 2 day shipping as well. So I hope it will be here tomarrow. I also have my case mod done my wiring done. And my buddy is supposed to drop me off a 250gb hard drive to add in there as well. So Water cooling and no cpu yet. Frustration. I vote go with evga next time. I dont think i would have went with asus if the only other phenom board supporting SLI wasnt a GIGABYTE board. Their RMAS are Long Last one for me from gigabyte lasted 2 months. At least it worked on the first board. :( and thats how its been lately!
