Finally, my new car came in last night....a 2008 Cadillac CTS, red with black interior, loaded with all sorts of technical goodies that I now have to figure out how to use. Hurray! The dealership had me put down a deposit to order the car because the black interior was an "unusual" color combination. They're basically nuts, and admitted as much when they saw the car. It's just freaking gorgeous, much better than the camel interior they considered "normal".

Sucks to be me right now. I decided a few weeks ago that it was time to replace my 98 Sebring convertible...it's getting a little long in the tooth. I settled on the Cadillac CTS, but they didn't have the exact one I wanted. So I ordered one...I don't like to settle.

And so of course, my car is now dead. I'm typing this on my BlackBerry, sitting in a dead car, in 40 degree weather, waiting for a tow truck and my wife to come rescue me. If I hadn't insisted on a black interior,...

My son, Chase Michael, was born on Thursday morning...a month early, but everything is just fine. I swear, his ears have just the slightest bit of a Vulcan point to them...!

So if you don't see me around very much for the next few weeks, you'll know the reason why.
