![]() Don't even worry about who wins... we all had fun, and we all have really cool custom computers now sitting in our offices (or wherever). One of the most important things to realize when you enter a competition is that everyone has different tastes, and regardless of whether more people share your taste, or share other's taste, has nothing to do with how good your project is by itself. Like I said a couple posts ago, the entries in this competition are so drastically different from each other, worrying about who is in what place is pointless.

wow... hard choice between Xicle and Zodiac...
I really love both of them, but they're total opposites ![]() Zodiac is like a regal masterpiece, while Xicle is a BOOM in your face type of case where you just go "wow". I won't tell you which one I voted for

@masbuskado, In regards to post #33 in this thread, please no shouting; it is not proper forum etiquette and more of a strain to read. (THIS IS SHOUTING)
The fact that your mod is second in the polls does show that it is well fabricated and people do like it. What I can suggest to attract more attention on logs is to try to have a caption for each picture rather than having a whole series of progress pictures with little or no description of what's shown. One example of why dialog is useful is that you show pictures of your 9600GT being too large to fit into the case and illustrating that it's bigger than an 8400GS, but afterwards there's no mention of it and/or what (if anything) was done to remedy the problem. Don't get me wrong, your craftsmanship is very good and it is one of the more unique projects in the competition (which is why it's doing quite well in the polls), but for a successful log the craftsmanship (and pics thereof) must also be paired with a good/descriptive dialog to keep the reader informed and interested.

sorry about the "shouting" but I like to type in caps but I now that the new internet language see a big letter as shout, but I txt like that but I think that was wrong been me again...
for me letter are letter no matter is CAPS or not...about the 9600GT is you check my thread lately you'll see that is in red and say out... 'cause I solve some of the problem but at the end was half inch outside the case so... was a hard decision to make but a let out... was design vs. performance... I take design instead. P.S Don't mind been second or fourth am not here for the prize... 'cause everyone knows how much their spend in their MOD as I do... and been move from the category I enter (intermediate) to this one... that my real prize right there... ![]() ![]() ---Am a Natural Born Modder, respect for Mod---
