Watercooling! Fun stuff! Let's get to it
With the lack of pictures, I present to you these select few of the finished setup! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I also had to make a custom "T" splitter for the Danger Den fillport. ![]() I found an "el cheapo" plastic T splitter with 1/2" barbs in my hose junk department of my house. I chopped off the plastic barbs and will tap the holes for my own high flow 1/2" 1/4 BSPP barbs. ![]() Here it is tapped, painted, and assembled. I was worried about leaks so I wrapped a lot of the think in teflon wrapping and then put green electrical tape on it to make it look a bit better. I then proceeded to ensure that it wouldn't leak by adding a few heavy duty clamps. ![]() Coolant I used ![]()

I also got my lighting done, theres a total of 5 custom LED strips:
![]() ![]() ![]() (As Requested) Well, for my LED Strips I bought a few different colored packs of 50 5mm LEDs and hooked them up in a series-parallel circuit inside pieces of channel metal. First, I found the channel metal at Orchard hardware, cut it to fit various parts of my case, then proceeded to mark it up for the amount of LED's I wanted per strip. I then hole punched and drilled out the holes to fit the LEDs. Along with my LEDs, I bought chrome 5mm holders. I secured the LEDs in the holders and then placed them in the holes with a dab of hot glue on the inside. With all the LEDs placed, proceed to connect in a series-parallel circuit running off the 12V and GND line in groups of 3 LEDs each with a 100ohm resistors on the end. Remember: the short leg of the LED is negative, long is positive. If you can make sense out of my following pictures, it may help you go along. ![]() Steps to build: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() had to cut my 5.25" bays to fit with my case handles.. ![]() standoffs I used.. ![]() standoffs are placed. ![]() The Aqua-Computer Airplex Evo 240 grill ![]() ![]() painted mdder's mesh. ![]() shazam! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Aqua-Computer Airplex Evo 120's fit *perfectly* across if they are mounded sideways. ![]() ![]() I had to cut the lower to fit ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() caged in ![]() ![]() Done ![]()

I also had to replace my heatercore with a radiator because it had some factory leaks:
![]() ![]() It's an Aqua-Computer Even Xtreem 120 ![]() I also put some C-Channle trimming from mnpctech on the bottom of the shroud for noise dampening. I also found out that it would be impossible for me to get my two hard drives installed in my 5.25" bays because I have not enough space, so I came up with a better idea: ![]() marked for custom brackets.. ![]() cut. ![]() ![]() ![]() A suitable alternative ![]()
