I've never been a fan of the Armor Jr... It's just a Soprano with a different front plate that costs $50 more... and the full Armor is only like $20 more.

Ummm.... If your dad doesnt really care that much about computers then why would you buy a relatively expensive and flashy case that your dad isn't really gonna appreciate? Surely a $40 case and a C2D would have been more practical!

Same goes for the PSU.. 550W for a system that I assume wont be oc'ed? I would have thought more 400W.

Don't get me wrong I think its wiked of you to do that for your dad and I love the sata cable, but it pains a tight-arse like me to see money go to waste on flashy bits rather than performance.

I agree...somewhat. However I did a rather extensive search for prices. I got the PSU for $60. Thats pretty cheap. As far as the case, thast the one piece that I wanted get him, so then he could match my armor. as far as the c2d, I guess I could have got a cheaper case and used that extra $$ for the C2D Proc, but the Pent D 2.8 is plenty of power for him. My dad really liked the case and said he had never had anything like that and thought it was really cool. So I am satisfied with my choices.
