Hey guys I want to get the documentation started on my first "production run" case mod.
The parts have all been ordered and will be arriving throughout the coming week. Based on my Velocitor mod I will be taking a brand new Antec 900 and converting it to internal liquid cooling. Only a few aesthetic features will be altered in this mod...the basic mechanics of it are exactly like Velocitor: top mounted Thermochill PA160 radiator, AC Ryan 5.25 Bay Red UV reactive acrylic resevoir, 1/2" I.D. PrimoFlex tubing, UV Red Primochill nonconductive coolant, Swiftech MCP 655 pump. This project will focus strictly on modding the case--no internals--and when it's done I will be offering it for sale here on OCN. Here's some of the aesthetic elements that I am changing: I'll be swapping out all 4 120mm fans for TT Red LED Thunderblades and painting the case inside and out with top quality Automotive paint...color to be determined. All the lights and fans will be groomed into a sheathed harness that will be a permanent feature of the case--easing any future upgrades to the internals. Another feature that will make this Antec 900 like no other is a custom top panel that will blend the PA160 into the case and have a TT fan controller stealthed into the panel behind the switchgear . I will reveal some more details about that as the mod progresses. Inside I will be fabricating some cover plates of acrylic mirror to hide the floor and sides of the case and allow for a cleaner look regarding PSU cabling--answering one of the major challenges this case offers: where to put the wires... So stay tuned for plenty of pictures of each and every step...I plan to have a lot of fun with this one and to put every little detail in order before calling it complete.

I ordered most of the stuff Friday and Saturday...so I am guessing end of the week. But I am prepping for it even now...getting the spraybooth together and organizing the workshop...

Oooo sounds promising too bad my friend just got the NZXT Adamas or else he would have gone the 900 Red route.

hmmmm, just an idea, you should spray the inside a matte black, make a UV red mobo cover and put a UV cathode in there

There will be two UV tubes one diagonally across the top and one alongside the bay just hidden by the window.
Not sure about a mobo cover...the only UV red acrylic I can find fades really fast and looks kinda orange-pink rather than red... I am leaning toward inky-black on the interior so everything pops out more and a charcoal (silvery-black) finish on the exterior. Although a Ferrari red Antec 900 would be an eye-popper too many different shades of red doesn't appeal to me--you got the fans the fluid and the resevoir all clashing...better IMO to have a neutral dark color for the reds to jump out of.
