You should mount the rad to the back of the case. that would look better. Cause you have a huge wall of nothing over there. And with a dremel It would be well worth the good looks. I would anyways it would make it easier to move and look a hole lot better.

I agree about the rad and the only reason that I did not mount it in the front is because my 3*120 rad wont fit
![]() I thought about getting a thermochill pa 120.2 but seeing as how I already had a rad spending the money was hard to justify. I still might do it in the future along with some 7/16 tubing to make things look a bit nicer inside.

So what's the prognosis doctor? Did the transformation take? Have you made any changes?
Nice case! It looks great inside and out.

if he just bought a G5 looking case then it would be such a jaw dropping mod. it would be just a watercooled case that looked like a mac. i like it though. nice job man

Oh yes the transformation took place and I learned a ton of stuff doing it too
![]() Only change has been getting a dual 120 rad and moving it inside, other than that its still the same. I really did not plan the hard drive space out too well so I am using an external enclosure for my extra hard drives. The only real issue with a G5 case is the lack of a CD eject button but you learn to live without out.

SO i recently purchased a G5 Case. And my largest concern is how to mount the cd dvd rom. right now it is kind of free floating. which sucks, i have no parts basically just the top tray is there and i sit the dvd player on top of it. how do i make it line up and stay put. The nice little front panel is there, ya know the one the just open when the dvd opens. i donot have a need for a open button i can do it manually via the computer and keyboard. so how do i mount the dvd rom any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

wow... it is really going to depend how clean you want to keep the outside surfaces of the case. You could always purchase a kama bay or any 3 in 1 device and pop rivet it ot the case... (using some sort of shims)
