The first one should work fine. I had the older version (which you can still buy easily) on both my NB and SB. There were no clearance issues with it and an 8800 GTX. pic here: http://www.overclock.net/attachments...-heatsinks.jpg

It is the soundcard that has clearence issues when in the center PCI slot. From your picture, it would appear that a soundcard will definitely not fit in the center PCI slot with the HR-05 on my southbridge. Is the mounting setup is the same for the northbridge as it is for the southbridge?

Nice Job Man. I just went through all the posts, looking at the pics and reading everything you typed. I appreciate you rating some of the stuff as it gives me a real idea on how good things are and not always trusting the ratings of things on the box (example the fans).

Anybody know when the Armor+ is coming out? I'm probably going to "upgrade" to it when I get my SLI setup, as I will have 5 HDDs as well (which I believe is the number of HDD drive bays in the Armor+ by default). Not sure if I should start a new log or not for that...

I got my new 750GB AAKS HDD, and did some cable management and rearrangement of my case innards, so I will post some pictures shortly. The final step is to get an SLI setup, which I will purchase once the new Nvidia cards.
