I dont know how I missed this build, I'm with Warf, never seen that treatment on a armor, looks awesome! Looks like bondo mania is spreading!!!

Thanks for the tip Repo I think seeing all you doing the bondo work over the last few days has got me wanting to finish this one, lol. Feels like I've been working on it forever.

[larrythecableguy]Git 'er dun![/larrythecableguy]

From my experience with that Dupli-Color Filler Primer, give it a dayish to cure.

The stuff I laid on last night seems to be all but bullet proof. I've drilled, filed, manhandled and otherwise abused that front bezel all day today. I bet I've had it on and off the chassis at least a dozen times. I haven't had a single chip or a nick, heck, not even a scratch; that I have noticed.

I'm really impressed with the stuff.

Just don't go stepping on any parts anymore.

Update #13:

I used to live up by there.

Well it's not much of an update, but here's a few shots of the progress that I've made in the last week or so. I would like to have the front and top ready for paint by tuesday afternoon.

Update #14:

Woot, time for another update! Things are getting very close to being done, finally Only been about 10 months or so, lol. I have one more round of spot filler on the top, then paint that. Also one or two more coats on the front should finish that off, so long as I don't do something stupid again I picked up some of that filler/primer that everyone was talking about, and it worked great on the front. However not so well on the cracks on the top, it just wasn't thick enough to fill the bigger two cracks.

Here's a few shots of the progress on the front,

Primer

First coat of metallic black,

After wet sanding and second coat,

Here's the top after the primer, still need some filler and a good sanding to even everything out before paint,

The little pink bit in the upper right part of the circle is the main crack I have to fill in, then sand, sand, sand....

That's it for now, I should be able to get paint on it today I hope.

Thanks for looking!

Looking very very good!

That front bezel looks even better than before. I guess that was one of those fortunate accident type things after all.

Thanks! Ya getting close to the end, then the real fun starts with getting everything in the case! I'm going to try and use some copper piping for the straight run's in the W/C'ing setup.
