This is an amazing build, it fixes the one issue I have always had with the armor, those stupid front half door things.

Three Cheers for PJ!

After the harrowing experience with that front shroud/bezel, it came out looking awesome.

I was thinking about turning the drives, however when the third one goes in and the fan is installed in the back I don't thin there will be room for the wires. Thanks though

Thanks man! Ya the front flaps always drove me nuts with this case.

Thanks Syr I wasn't going to say anything but I almost broke the front again, lol. I was trying to put the mexh filters over the front fans and there was not enough room, lol. The front started to bow out alittle, I thought it might happen so I was taking the reinstall very slow. Oh well I'll just have to make sure I don't stick my fingers in there.

Anyone have any thoughts on turning the water black? There will be no lighting in this case, I'm going for a dark/un-noticed look with this as it will be my main media rig soon.

So far no leaks either! And it's very quiet, I can sit right beside it and hear every other rig in the room overs it.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone!

Sorry for the double.

Looks like my board is dead It seems that it won't run 2 sticks of ram, and it very unstable with one in. Kinda sucks as I really wanted to run my Opty again. It was a great chip. I've moved the XP-4000 in to an old Intel rig for now. I'm thinking of running a Tri-core setup in here now. Asus has a nice board that will suit my HTPC need very nice and I'll get something like an 8450 to power it. I was thinking a BE 9850 but the extra $ is not really needed for this rig. Stay tunned for new pic's whan I get the board and proc.

Till next time.

Hmm... Good idea, except I want to keep the look clean on this one.

On a side note, I picked up the new board, CPU and Ram today. I decided on the Asus M3A78-EMH matched to a X3 8450 and 2x2gig Crucial Ballistix 6400. However I think I'll swap the ram from my sig rig in the future. When they get hybrid X-fire sorted out I'll get something like a 3870 to go in here as well. The down side to all this is none of my Waterblocks fit the system so I'll be ordering a new on of those, but for now it's on stock cooling. I'll post some new pic's when the new waterblock shows up, hopefully by the end of the week.

Till next time!

Update #21

Yet another double I got the new block this morning, decided on the Apogee GT as the price was good and I won't be overclocking this. On the stock HSF it was getting close to 60 so while I was waiting for the WB to arrive I used the HSF from my Opty and it maxed out at 47c. With this block so 35C is max, same as the Idle temp with the stock HSF. As promised here's the pic's. I should have the final pic's up soon as well, just a few things left to do/paint and it will be done, but at least I now have a fully functional rig!
